the self-titled album "theconsistencyofdestruction" shows a glimpse into the short, yet intense history of the ensemble. during the course of the last 3 years they intensely rehearsed, researched, deconstructed and recorded 5 different programs.

this one (no.2) is based on the rather simplistic starting point of multi-layered compositions, focusing on polyrhythmic, harmonic and dynamic research, within the boundaries of the ensemble, repurposing within.

centered around the question what is form and the coherent misconception of a clear definition of it, similar to what is jazz
or the true definition of art, and the boundaries the question(s) itself bring(s) with it / them, theconsistencyofdestruction tries to question themselves and their musical actions inside the given formulas, subliminally ←→ improvisation, as well as consciously ←→ rethinking the written material.
